VA Community Care: Compassionate Care for Veterans, Families and Caregivers

What We Do

Veterans Desk helps veterans and their families navigate the VA Community Care process, connect with VA-enrolled specialists, and discover trusted community resources. We are an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit, built by veterans for veterans.

Veterans Desk is not part of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. We exist to make the VA Community Care Network easier to understand. From your first VA primary care visit to specialty referrals, we provide clarity, plain-language guides, and community connections.

What We Do

Veterans Desk is a Florida 501(c)(3) that makes the VA path practical:

VA Education

Easy-to-follow guides, checklists, and resources on VA Community Care.

Tools & Forms

Quick access to essential documents for referrals, authorizations, and care coordination.

Community Support

Grant funding for nonprofit partners that provide ramps, rental help, therapy, and family assistance.

Family Support

Emergency support, housing micro-grants, and practical resources that make daily life a little easier.

We are not the VA and don’t give medical or legal advice. We educate, then link you to the right place.

In the Community

Beyond education, we provide grants to community nonprofits that support veterans and active-duty families — from housing assistance to accessibility improvements. We believe in strengthening the veteran community by working alongside existing nonprofits that already serve daily living needs, such as installing handicapped ramps, providing rent and security deposit assistance, or offering family emergency support.
